Our technicians treat your home with respect. We wear shoe covers, lay down drop cloths, and clean up thoroughly after every job. We work with homeowners, property managers, and real estate agents to handle everything from single-pane repairs to whole-home glass upgrades.
Whether you need a broken window replaced before a home inspection, a custom mirror installed in your bathroom, or new glass shelving for a display niche, we bring the same level of precision and professionalism to every project. We also offer energy-efficient glass upgrades that can reduce your cooling costs, a major benefit in Tampa's climate.
Tampa Bay homes have a wide mix of construction styles that each come with their own glass needs. From older concrete-block homes with jalousie windows to newer subdivisions with vinyl-frame insulated windows, waterfront properties with impact-rated glass, and mobile homes with their own specifications -- we work on all of them.
One of the most common residential calls we get is for foggy or hazy windows. When the seal on an insulated glass unit fails, humid air gets between the panes and condenses, leaving a cloudy film you cannot wipe away. We replace the insulated glass unit within the existing frame, restoring both clarity and insulation without the cost of a full window replacement.
We also handle a steady volume of glass work related to home sales and property management. Realtors call us when a broken window or foggy pane shows up on a home inspection report and needs to be fixed before closing. Property managers contact us when a tenant reports a cracked window or a sliding door that will not lock. In both cases, speed matters, and we prioritize these jobs because we understand the timelines involved.
For homeowners in HOA-governed communities, we are familiar with the approval processes that many associations require before exterior work can begin. If your HOA needs a description of the glass type, color, or frame finish before approving a replacement, we provide that documentation as part of the estimate.
Common Residential Glass Projects
The residential glass work we do in Tampa Bay falls into several recurring categories. Window glass replacement is the most frequent: a single cracked pane, a foggy insulated glass unit, or a broken jalousie louver. We replace the glass within the existing frame whenever the frame is still in good condition, which saves the homeowner the cost of a full window replacement.
Custom mirrors are another large part of our residential work. Bathroom vanity mirrors, full-length bedroom mirrors, gym mirrors in home workout rooms, and decorative mirrors in dining rooms and entryways. We cut mirrors to exact dimensions on-site or at our shop depending on the complexity, and we mount them with appropriate hardware: J-channel clips for frameless installations, adhesive for lightweight panels, or French cleats for heavy mirrors that need to come off the wall for cleaning.
Glass tabletops, cabinet inserts, glass shelving, and specialty items like glass range-top covers and glass fireplace screens round out the list. Each of these has its own requirements for glass type, thickness, and edge finishing, and we guide homeowners through those choices during the estimate.

Energy-Efficient Glass Upgrades for Florida Homes
In a state where air conditioning runs eight to ten months out of the year, the glass in your windows is one of the biggest factors in your energy bill. Standard clear single-pane glass does almost nothing to block solar heat. Even older double-pane glass without a Low-E coating lets a significant amount of infrared energy pass through. Upgrading to modern energy-efficient glass can noticeably reduce how hard your AC unit works.
The most effective upgrade for Tampa Bay homes is an insulated glass unit with a Low-E coating and argon gas fill. Low-E, which stands for low emissivity, is a microscopic metallic coating applied to one surface of the glass that reflects infrared radiation. In a cooling-dominated climate like ours, the coating goes on the outer pane's interior surface (surface 2) to bounce solar heat back outside before it enters the home. Argon gas between the panes conducts heat less efficiently than air, adding another layer of insulation.
Tinted glass is another option, particularly for west-facing windows that take the full force of the afternoon sun. Gray and bronze tints reduce visible light and solar heat gain without the need for a coating. The tradeoff is reduced natural light, which some homeowners prefer and others do not. We can show you samples so you understand exactly what the tint looks like from inside your home before committing.
Working With Property Managers and Realtors
Property managers and real estate professionals are a significant part of our customer base. We understand that these clients have different needs than a typical homeowner. Speed, documentation, and clear communication matter more than anything else. A property manager dealing with a tenant complaint about a broken window needs it fixed quickly and needs an invoice to forward to the owner. A realtor with a closing date in two weeks needs a home inspection item resolved with documentation.
We offer priority scheduling for property management companies and realtors who work with us regularly. When you call with a glass issue at a rental property or a home under contract, we treat it as a time-sensitive job. We provide same-day or next-day estimates, give you a clear timeline for completion, and send you digital photos and invoices the day the work is done.
For property managers overseeing multiple units, whether it is a single-family rental portfolio or a condo association, we can set up a standing relationship where you call or text us directly and we handle the glass work across your properties without needing a new intake process each time. Several property management firms in the Tampa Bay area already work with us this way, and it simplifies things for both sides.
